Step 2 after a high WHtR

At 0.5500 or higher, the Navy runs a body-fat estimate from the circumference method (neck + waist; hips for women) or official PRIMS tables, checked against the age/sex standard (e.g., 22/33% at 18–21, rising with age).

The program

A failure enters a command-sponsored fitness / nutrition program with periodic re-assessment. The BCA and PRT are separate gates. Confirm current policy via MyNavyHR.

Quick answers

Is the Navy BCA pass/fail separate from the PRT?
Yes. A passing run does not save a failing body-composition assessment; both must clear.
