What the estimate includes

  • Base rate by combined rating (10% → 100%), rounded to the nearest 10%.
  • Dependent add-ons at 30% and above: spouse, children under 18, school-age children (18–23), and dependent parents (per 38 CFR § 3.4 / § 3.21).
  • 2026 schedule effective Dec 1, 2025 (2.5% COLA).

It does not include Special Monthly Compensation (SMC) for severe anatomical losses or Aid & Attendance, nor Total Disability Individual Unemployability (TDIU), which can pay at the 100% rate below a schedular 100%. If you think you qualify for either, speak with a VSO.
