Calculation Methodology

Our macro calculation follows this sequence: (1) Adjust TDEE based on goal (-500 kcal for cutting, +300 kcal for bulking), (2) Calculate protein in grams based on g/kg ratio, (3) Calculate fat in grams based on minimum 0.8g/kg, (4) Calculate carbohydrates as the remaining calories divided by 4. This ensures minimum protein and fat requirements are met before allocating remaining calories to carbs.
